Funding Guidelines

The Foundation supports Riverview Hospital Association and other community health care priorities. All gifts are invested through WoodTrust Asset Management, and a certain amount of the invested earnings, as decided by the board of directors, is granted to Riverview Hospital Association and other community nonprofit agencies in support of wellness and health care initiatives.  Local health care has benefited from the contribution of nearly $4.5 million from Riverview Health Care Foundation since 1984.

To request funds from Riverview Health Care Foundation, a grant request form must be submitted to the Foundation office no less than two weeks prior to a Grant Meeting of the Foundation Board of Directors in order for the Board to review the request. The Board members are scheduled to meet the 2nd Tuesday in February, May, August, and November to review grant requests.

A spokesperson of the requesting organization will be asked to attend the Board meeting to answer questions of the directors regarding that request.

You will be informed of the disposition of your request within one week of the Board Meeting.
